Dr. May Chang

Dr. Chang has been proudly serving the Portland community since 1986, bringing her expertise and compassionate care to the Hollywood District and surrounding inner eastside neighborhoods. With a focus on prevention and education, Dr. Chang is passionate about empowering her patients to take charge of their dental health. She is committed to providing high-quality, long-lasting restorations that support optimal oral health and well-being.

A graduate of the prestigious University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry, Dr. Chang earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degrees in 1984. Prior to that, she studied at UC Berkeley, building a strong foundation in science and patient-centered care. Dr. Chang is a lifelong learner, continually advancing her skills through active participation in continuing education and mentoring future dentists.

Dr. Chang’s passion for dentistry goes beyond patient care—she also serves as a mentor and instructor, sharing her knowledge with dental students and professionals through the Academy of R.V. Tucker Study Clubs and Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU).

 

Outside of the office, Dr. Chang is a dedicated Portland community member, balancing her professional commitments with involvement in local events and initiatives. She takes great pride in helping her patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles that last a lifetime.
